Director Jacqui Bates

BSc (Hons), MBA

With over 30 years of experience in research, product development, compliance, certification, and project management within the building products manufacturing industry, Jacqui is a seasoned problem solver. Her mission is to guide clients through complex challenges, expand their knowledge base, and provide practical, effective solutions.

Jacqui's journey began as a laboratory researcher at Monash University. She transitioned into the Building Products Industry with roles at Boral Plasterboard, Bondor, and XLam, gaining extensive expertise in product development, project management, testing, quality assurance, and certifications.

She has a comprehensive understanding of a range of environmental and sustainability initiatives including UN SDGs, Green Star, The Living Building Challenge, EPDs, FSC, PEFC, ESG. She is experienced in standards development, NCC, and CodeMark. Jacqui is renowned for her collaborative approach, fostering industry-wide solutions, and promoting knowledge sharing among stakeholders.
